Case of the Mondays

Hello everyone, anyone else notice that no one seems to post much in the summer except for you? It's probably because in the summer, days seem to either be frantically busy or mind numbingly dull- so sad. So everyone's caught between
1) being too busy to spend the time creating a post (rereading it to make sure you don't sound too dislexic, re-rereading it to make sure just the right amount of crazy is seeping in to your words to show people you have a sense of humor but not so much that your loved ones know its finally time to call the white coats)
or
2) being so bored (to death) that you can not possibly string an interesting sentence together if your life depended on it.
Which it does not... let's face it the only people who read these are blog stalkers and the nicest of your friends and both of those groups will love you sans-post or post. Well I love you too.
And you're welcome because look I posted!
(p.s. I fall in to the blog stalkers group- creepy, but you know you like it.)

BitterSweet

You know how they say, "when it rains, it pours" ya well that's not always true, it just mostly feels that way.
Like right now it seems like in my adoptive family a whole lots goin' on. Jen and her clan are moving away now and even though we all knew it was coming it still seem like it's snuck up "like a thief in the night", (as holli likes to say). Then there's Cassie and Drew and their three sweet little girls who will be leaving way too soon as well and tomorrow I'll be one more year closer to death, man oh man (tear). But of course there's always an up side if you look hard enough (or lie to yourself).
Jen and co are an amazingly close family who know how to lean on and be there for one another and Cassie's family is going to be too close for us not to visit and for me one day closer to death is no problem when you get 24 hours to tell the people you love that they are important to you.
So thank you; Jenny, Rich, Haley, Megan, AJ, and Austin for being amazing examples of a strong, thoughtful, compassionate, fun-loving family and for the four (too short) years that you let me impose and get to know and love the caring way that you watch out for each other.
Thank you; Cassie, Drew, Kirstyn, Kam, and Kaide for letting me love on your girls and illustrating what it is like to love each other without judgement and with careful consideration and patient understanding.
I am so glad to have gotten to meet you all and get to see your loving families as amazing examples. There's so much more I could say about each and every one of you and I really, honestly want to say that I love you all and am grateful to have been allowed a small paragraph in your amazing lives.
All the best and hope to see ya soon.
