Hi

..howareya? Doing good? Good.
Here's a little posty-post just to kill some time, and because even I think it's depressing when I look at my blog and it's the same old post that I've already seen the title of, like, a bagillion times. So this is kinda like filler- ya know, no real content, but it makes things look fluffy and more filled in- yeah.
(Don't be scared no one really gets my analogies except for me (and even I'm sketchy on whether they make sense or not..but shhhhhhh...let's keep that to ourselves.))
So school's been "in" for a week now at the U and it's gonna be busy, but what the HEdoublehockeysticks, nothings worth having that wasn't hard to get, or so they say. (I personally don't agree- I love lots of things that I don't have to work for, infact I might go so far as to say I prefer them j/k but anyway). It's hot right now and I am sitting in my room, on my bed, with this darn laptop making the fronts of my legs sweat...yuck. Alright you've suffered through enough of this "filler" post- didn't think it would be soo boring did you- so you got sucked in 'cause you thought it might merit a laugh or two, and then you had to finish it because "you'd already started" and you hadn't really given up hope yet, but now it's drawing to a close and you're angry, ya feel cheated, and a little sad all the same because you had been excited that one out of your thousand of blog buddies had finally updated something and now you've already read it. So now what else will you do with the 23 hours 55 minutes of this miserable day between the suicide inducing hotmess we call summer and the tenderly beautiful life assuring season of fall?- well better luck next time sucker.

Oh no they di'n't!

Ummhuh, they sure did.
*I actually really like Burger King, just read any of their little blurbs on the back of their boxes or bags and you'll know why, besides they just came out with the big guns you know the kraft mac 'n cheese, oh be still my heart.....sigh. and it's only like a buck 50....my only weakness(es); cheese and cheapness!
By way of explanation- the Whopper IS actually bigger than the big mac and (bonus) it costs less.

Sew what's up?

Corny title (I know..suck it...or don't depending on your attitude) but yeah I have been bitten by the sewing bug, but alas school starts for me on Monday so I can't be too infected by it. Any way I just wanted to say (brag) and show pictures of my latest (and probably last for a little while) completed project- A present for my favorite sister in law.
Well, actually two presents, because really can you HAVE too many aprons? Nah...didn't think so.

And more for me than for anyone else.....dundududa......(crappy) close ups of the the goods, yeah that's right....the pockets!!!!!

WooWoot!!!!!

Oh and just in case any of you didn't know, I LOVE, LOVE aprons, and in my mind anything that I like (by default) makes a good gift for anyone else, honestly I would make a man an apron anyday too (just call it a grillin' splatter protector or fancy it up with words like chef, boss, or king of the _____ (insert appropriate noun) ).

Happy Birthday Little Bubba

I love you little, I love you big, I love you like my little fat pig.
I hope everything in your day went well, I love you so much.

I remember......

How you used to get out of trouble by "telling on yourself".
How you had (and still have) mom wrapped around your little finger with ojitos (butterfly kisses).
The video of you telling Mansi you were going to tell Abuela about water on her concrete.
That time that little boy thought your name WAS Bubba because that's all we used to call you (compliments of Luz).
Waking up to your tiny hands wrapped viciously in my tangled hair.
How you used to carry my violin to school for me.
How you used to keep my shirt from falling off my shoulders.
How you always wanted to be sick if I was.
How you used to tell mommy that when you grew up you were going to marry her.
How you were going to be a pilot and fly her all over the world.
I remember you playing army guys with your little fingers all over the backseat.
That you always stood up for me even when I was wrong.
You love me unconditionally (the way Luz loves you).

I will always love you, always be proud of you, always think of you and smile, and always wish I told you more.

Love sissy.
